Marine ecosystems: the restoration of mangroves

The FFEM has supported multiple projects dedicated to the protection, management and restoration of mangroves, as part of its strategy on Resilience of aquatic ecosystems. To improve their effectiveness and learn lessons from these different programs, the FFEM also supported the mangrove initiative, a cross-cutting capitalization initiative that brought together practitioners, experts, and researchers.

This guide has been developed within the framework of this platform, rich in the multitude of experiences shared both geographically and through the diversity of profiles of its members, geographers, sociologists, engineers, ecologists, botanists, etc.

It aims to support project leaders for greater efficiency of restorations.
